Our Story

Fred Eggli, photographed in Marquette, MI (2017)
In 1994, Eggli Bros. Millwork was founded in a modest 1,000-square-foot rented space in downtown Lander, Wyoming. The company started as a true family operation, led by brothers Al and Bill Eggli, their father Fred, and supported by their families.
The early years brought both expansion and profound challenges. Within months, work began on a 3,200 square foot manufacturing facility. A year later, a 4,900 square foot addition was completed, followed by a 3,000 square foot storage and caretakers building. In 2000, a final 5,600-square-foot expansion brought the facility to its current size of over 15,000 square feet.
Tragically, shortly after the company launched, Bill was diagnosed with cancer and had to relocate for treatment, accompanied by his family and their parents. Bill passed away in 1999, just four months after their mother. Fred then retired to Marquette, Michigan, leaving Al and his wife Angie to carry the business forward.

Through steady determination, the company navigated the typical hurdles of a new venture and grew gradually. Over time, Eggli Bros. evolved from traditional hand-crafted methods—though cordless tools had long replaced the old Yankee screwdrivers—to incorporate modern automated and CNC technology, all while preserving the high standards of quality that define the work.
From the beginning, the company has been guided by simple, enduring principles: fair pricing, exceptional craftsmanship, and outstanding service. These values remain at the heart of everything we do.
Today, Eggli Bros. Millwork enjoys a strong reputation across Wyoming, having successfully completed hundreds of projects in nearly every city and town in the state. We are grateful for the trust of many loyal general contractors—some who bring us numerous jobs, others just a handful—and we treat every customer, large or small, as the most important part of our business.
